On Tuesday, February 21st, Delta Gamma Beta Psi hosted our annual Milk and Cookies philanthropy event. Members in DG sold tickets to friends and family to come to the house for milk and cookies and cute photo ops decorated by our philanthropy team!
This event was an excellent opportunity to raise money for our philanthropy. Half of the donations go to the Delta Gamma foundation, and the other half goes to Service for Sight and Gallet Hearts. Our fundraising for Service for Sight goes to the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind (AIDB) Preschool in Tuscaloosa.
This year, we raised over $12,000 at the event! We had a great turnout, and people from the greek community came to support us and those not in greek life. To those who donated, thank you for making your contributions and helping us do good for a beautiful cause.
This was one of our more successful years hosting milk and cookies with a line out the door all night! We had to reschedule because of the weather but that did not stop students and parents from coming to support our fundraising event.
